Membership & Credit Holders FAQ

How does the waitlist work?

When you create a “waitlist reservation,” this means you do not have a spot in the class yet but as people in the class cancel their reservations, you will have the opportunity to be moved into the class. The system will automatically move you into the class up until two hours before class. Late-cancel and no-show penalties still apply if you get moved into the class but do not attend, so we always recommend removing your waitlist reservation at least 12 hours before the class if you could not attend the class within short notice. If you’re still on the waitlist and a last-minute spot opens within two hours of the class, the system will send you a text message to alert you of that open spot and you can follow the directions in the text to manually add yourself to the class if you’d like to attend. The system uses your credit to reserve your waitlist reservation, but you do get the credit back if you cancel a waitlist reservation or if you do not get moved into the class because a spot did not open. There is never a penalty for removing a waitlist reservation. In your Recharged Pilates account, there is an “Upcoming Reservations” section where you can see if your upcoming reservation is still on the waitlist or if it is a spot in the class. You’re also notified via email when you get moved from a waitlist and into the class. The waitlists usually move quickly, so there’s a good chance of getting into the class!

Can I be refunded for a late-cancel or no-show fee?

As of June 1, 2026, we allow one graced late-cancel or no-show penalty per year (June 1-May 31). We know life happens and that’s exactly what this grace is for! Going forward, any cancellations made within 12 hours of class or no-shows will be subject to the standard penalties. This helps us keep class availability fair for all and out of respect for our instructors who prepare each class based on who has reserved. Our pro tips to avoid late-cancels and no-shows: Double check the class date and time before confirming a reservation and remove yourself from the waitlist if you could no longer attend the class. Thank you for understanding and helping us provide the best experience possible for all!

Can I freeze my membership?

We’re able to arrange one freeze per membership for as long as one month. For anything longer, we recommend terminating your current membership and starting a new one when you’re ready to start reserving classes again. A freeze can start at any time during your billing cycle — the remainder of the billing cycle will continue once the freeze ends. Email us at hello@rechargedpilates.com at least three days before you’d like your freeze to start, including your requested start and end dates, and our team will set that up for you. Please note, your membership’s auto-renewal date post-freeze will shift depending on the length of your freeze.

How do I cancel my membership?

Email us at hello@rechargedpilates.com at least three days before your next billing cycle to start the membership cancellation process. Please note, your membership’s minimum commitment must be reached before a cancellation can be processed.

I have multiple active memberships and credit packages. Where can I choose which one to use when booking a class?

After selecting your reformer or mat spot when creating a reservation, the system gives you the option to choose which membership/class package you want to “pay with.” You can tap here to see what options you have available. The system will auto-populate one of your available options, but you can choose to select a different one before clicking “Reserve Class” to finish making the reservation.

How do I redeem a gift card?

  1. Log in (or create) an account at rechargedpilates.com and navigate to the “Personal Information” page.

  2. Scroll down until you see "Account Balance" and choose to redeem a gift card.

  3. Enter the code that you were gifted or that you received in your email from us. Unsure of your code? Email hello@rechargedpilates.com the first and last name of the purchaser and we will be able to look this up for you.

  4. The gift card amount is now available as an account balance. Check the “Apply account balance to upcoming charges” box if you’d like to use this for future membership auto-renewals, or simply use it at checkout when purchasing a new credit or membership.

How do I change the payment method on my account?

Changes to payment methods can be made within your Recharged Pilates account. To add a new card on the app:

  1. Go to account settings (person icon on the bottom right)

  2. Select Payment Methods

  3. Select Add a New Card > Midwest > East Lansing

  4. Enter and save your card information

To remove a card on the app:

  1. Go to account settings (person icon on the bottom right)

  2. Select Payment Methods

  3. Select the card you want to remove

  4. Select Delete Card

If you’re updating a card due to a change in the expiration date, delete the previous card and add a new card on file. The system will use the most recently added/updated card on file for auto-payments. If you have multiple cards saved, the card at the top of your Payment Methods is the most recent. If your card is declined, the card will need to be deleted and re-added when it is ready to be charged again. If you have multiple cards saved, the system will not use the other cards for auto-payment. A declined payment for a membership renewal will not allow you to make future reservations until the payment issue is resolved.
